Awakening of The Mind
A mind awake, a steady flame,
A quiet strength without a name.
A spark that wakes the will to try,
To stand up firm, to reach up high.
Meaningful awareness is the inner light,
That keeps our thoughts both sharp and bright.
It guides the hands, it clears the sight,
And helps the heart choose what is right.
The dull of mind will search for thrills,
For smoke and drink and fleeting chills.
They chase a spark that fades too fast,
A borrowed fire that cannot last.
The bottle calls, the poison stays,
It steals tomorrow from today.
The body pays, the pockets too,
For joys that never ring as true.
But wiser minds grow calm and strong,
Through patient work and right from wrong.
With practiced care and steady breath,
They build a life that conquers death.
Not stirred by every passing slight,
Not lost in anger, fear, or fight.
They guard their health, they guard their way,
And walk with purpose every day.
They care for kin, they help their own,
Yet stand with courage all alone.
For all must share the human end
Both loss and grief that time will send.
At peace within the crowd and street,
Their thoughts and steps move calm and neat.
No haunted doubts, no restless mind,
But simple truths they hold and find.
At home they laugh, relaxed and free,
At work they act responsibly.
They rest at night in quiet deep,
And wake with strength from honest sleep.
An awakened mind begins the chain
A thought made clear inside the brain.
From thought to act the path is drawn,
And worthy deeds are carried on.
So guard the flame within your chest,
With discipline and thoughtful rest.
For when the mind is bright and true,
The body learns what it must do.
